Geese Galore

I think I live in the only city where geese can bring traffic on a major thoroughfare to a complete standstill...    There seemed to be some sort of disturbance about 1/2 block ahead - the traffic wasn't moving in any direction.  Pretty soon, the southern-most lane starts moving, then the next lane north, then the next, then it was my turn.  As I get closer, I see the last few stragglers slowly waddling out of the bike lane up onto the grass.   Canadian Geese migrate here in droves every winter and just take over.   HEAVEN FORBID you are not under cover when a fox (or anything else, for that matter) scares them and they take flight en masse!!
